Introduction:

This life is full of ups and downs, challenges that can throw you off track. The wisest of men that have walked the face of the earth were confused about their lives at one point or the other. Several stories of the Bible and those of people we Know personally have proven overtime that we need divine helps to navigate through the different paths and rough roads of this world. However, we thank God that He has left us rudderless like ship destined for nowhere. At anytime you find yourself in an unpleasant situation either self made or people made or devil made - there is only one way out, go back to God through JESUS CHRIST - Remember what He said in John 14:6 - I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comet to the Father except by me.

I) Why must rely on Him as our way maker?
Not because He claimed to be the way alone, but because He has done it for some people before in different situations and circumstances

1. Salvation- Noah and his family: Genesis 6: 8; faced with impending doom and loss due to both individual and communal sins, God still made away of escape Noah and his family. Romans 5:8, probably you’re here you have not giving your life to Christ is providing with a way to escape the impending doom by surrendering your life to Him today. He said in John 6:37 “whosoever cometh to me I never cast away”. So, He is inviting you, making a way of escape for you.

3. Storm of life: Jesus and His disciples on the stormy sea - Mark 4: 39

4. Captivity, jail, prison, bondage, gulag or in chains or fetters - He can set you free; Joseph (Gen. 39); Paul and Silas (Acts 16: 25-34); Peter out of prison (Acts 12: 3-19)

5. Out of death: Shedrach, Meshack and Abednego - Dan 3; Daniel in the den of lions - Dan. 6

6. Physical or spiritual need; He fed 5000 (Matt 14: 13-21; Mk 6: 30-44); Psalm 78:24

7. John 20:30

Conclusion: Jesus is our way maker, no situation is beyond Him and no circumstance takes Him by surprise, He has the solutions even before the problem arises, He is making a way for you right now. All He wants from you is trust, obey, keep your faith and never cease to pray.
