Requirements for Progress - Philippians 3:13-14

Introduction
The will of God or everyone of His children is to go from glory to glory (2 Corinthians 3:18). You are destined to be great. It is written “But he path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.” (Proverbs 4:18). It was corded that Isaac wax great and went forward, and grew until e became very great. (Genesis 26:13). This shall be our portion as we apply these principles into our lives. You shall not die small IJMN. You will go forward IJMN.

1. Have a vision - Genesis 13:4-15; 15:5; Joshua 6:1-3; Judges 7:9-14
Every progress you encounter in life begins with vision. What you cannot see today you can’t become tomorrow. See yourself making progress in your endeavour. See yourself as the head and not the tail. See yourself at the top not the bottom.

2. Have Faith in God - Habakkuk 2:4; Romans 1:17; Matthew 9:29; Hebrew 11:6
Faith is having the substance that will make the impossible possible. Faith gives motion to vision.

3. Be Meek - Matthew 11:29; Philippians 2:8; 1 Peter 5:6
Your meekness determines how much grace is available to you. Humble yourself before God. Always give God the glory at every stage of your progress.

4. Be Diligent - Proverbs 22:29; 12:24; 13:4
Progress is for the diligent not for those that are idle, lazy ones and the lay-about. You have to pay the prizes necessary to get to the top. You must know what it takes to make it to the top in your field and give it all, without cutting corners. You must invest your resources into your assignment to achieve your desire goals.

5. Avoid the following:-
(I) Negative past - Isaiah 43:18-19; 9:10
(ii) Past achievement - Philippians 3:13–14
(iii) Discouragement - Micah 7:8

Conclusion
You meant for the top, don’t short change yourself. Activate the greatness in you. You can be better than where you are right. Encourage yourself like David. You are a potential billionaire, a potential CEO, a potential leader -see yourself as God sees you. If you don’t, you can not become. GBU.
